
The FGCU men’s basketball team turned a six point lead with 7:40 to play into a 16 point win. The Eagles are now all alone in second place at 5-1 in the Atlantic Sun, one game behind North Florida (6-0). Lipscomb drops to 4-2 in conference play. Jamail Jones led the Eagles with 18 points, Bernard Thompson added 16 while Julian DeBose chipped in 14. Brett Comer scored 8 points and dished out 12 assists.
The FGCU women won at Lipscomb, 71-49. The Eagles improve to 19-2 overall and 6-0 in the Atlantic Sun.
