Police search for 7-Eleven robbery suspect

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect involved in a robbery at a 7-11 convenience store on Ortiz.

Police said the robbery happened at 10 a.m. in the 1300 block of Ortiz. Police searched the area but were not able to find a suspect.

Officers describe the suspect as a black man, heavy set, six-foot, wearing a black shirt, black sweat pants, large brimmed hat and black and white shoes. Police said the suspect took off in a green, 4-door car, possibly a Pontiac Bonneville. They also say he is considered to be armed and dangerous.
