Four businesses robbed on Palm Beach Blvd.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of four armed robberies at different businesses on Palm Beach Blvd. just west of I-75.

UPDATE: Two men were taken into custody. Deputies are no longer searching for any suspects.

Deputies responded to the Tice area around 9pm Friday night.

A Papa John’s employee tells WINK News that three of the four businesses hit were Papa John’s, Big Lots and Metro PCS. A Big Lots employee says two men came in armed with guns demanding money.

A deputy on scene said no one was hurt.
