MIAMI (AP) – More than 200 black male students from 10 South Florida schools are making a call to end gun violence.

The students will carry signs about gun violence that has killed several Miami-Dade County youth recently during a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. parade on Monday. Students will also carry baby caskets and roll adult caskets in the parade.

Miami Dade County Public Schools Police will also walk in the parade along with participants from the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project, a mentoring program for black youth.
