Races off, but Naples Swamp Buggy Parade still on

NAPLES, Fla. — Soggy conditions at Florida Sports Park prompted the cancellation of swamp buggy races scheduled for Nov. 5-6, but the event’s organizers are moving ahead with plans for their annual parade.

This year’s parade will honor police with a “Support Law Enforcement” theme. It’ll begin at 10 a.m. Nov. 5 at Coastland Center and travel along a route to Third Avenue South.

Races scheduled for Jan. 28-29 and March 25 are still on.
