The Punta Gorda Police Department will soon have to hand over hundreds of deleted social media posts to defense attorneys. The posts all center around former officer Lee Coel.
Coel is accused of manslaughter for the shooting and death of Mary Knowlton.
Coel no longer works for PGPD. His trials are taking place in Charlotte County.
