Three victims named in Fort Myers shooting that leaves one in critical condition

Three people are wounded from gun shots in a shooting in Fort Myers Thursday night.

Fort Myers Police Department said they were alerted to shots being fired by the ShotSpotter system.

Police say three people were shot on the 2200 block of Henderson Avenue, near Franklin Park Elementary School.

According to FMPD, Jordan Shanquilla Brown, 27, was shot multiple times and transported to Lee Memorial Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Two other victims were treated for non-life-threatening wounds and released. They were identified as Jamerial Florence, 27, and Darrell Niles, 37.

Witnesses told WINK News a car pulled up with four people inside. The back window rolled down and then they said about seven shots were fired. 

Witnesses said one man appeared to be in very bad condition, bleeding heavily on the street.

Law enforcement surrounded a silver Chevrolet Suburban, where investigators are looking at evidence.
