Fatal crash at Sunshine Blvd.(Credit: FHP) Florida Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash involving a Honda Civic and a dump truck on Sunshine Boulevard and 31st West in Lehigh Acres Wednesday afternoon. FHP confirmed driver of the Honda Civic, Jenny Lee Esquivel, 32, of Lehigh Acres was killed in the crash. The driver of the driver of the dump truck, John Joe Gujardo, 54, of Labelle has no injuries. According to the FHP press release, Esquivel was traveling north on Sunshine Boulevard while Gujardo was driving south. While approaching the intersection of 31st West, Esquivel drifted left over the double solid line, causing her to collide with the front of the dump truck. The Honda Civic rotated clockwise and came to a final rest in the grass shoulder. Esquivel was pronounced dead on scene, the FHP said in a press release. FHP says the crash remains under investigation.
