A death investigation is underway on Manor Boulevard in Collier County Friday following a call that someone had gone into the lake and hadn’t surfaced. Collier County Sheriff’s Office said a person was recovered by a fire and rescue dive team and now it is an active death investigation. Neighbors say a 19-year old boy attacked his father who was visiting from out of town. The boy’s roommates pulled him off and that’s when he ran into the lake. Once in the lake he came up once to breathe and then didn’t come up again, but this information is unconfirmed by the sheriff’s office.
