
Florida Highway Patrol is responded to a deadly crash on Daniels Parkway in south Fort Myers Monday night where a pedestrian was struck and killed on a tandem tricycle.
According to FHP, A vehicle was traveling westbound on Daniels Parkway, approaching Apaloosa Lane when the vehicle struck a tricycle with two passengers on it.
FHP says the tricycle was attempting to travel across Daniels Parkway when it was hit.
One of the passengers, a 71-year-old man from Fort Myers suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision.
The second person on the tandem tricycle only suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation.
