Florida is living up to its name as a battleground state for the 2020 general election. A CBS News poll shows Democratic nominee Joe Biden has a slight edge over President Donald Trump, and it’s within the margin of error.

People we spoke to Monday are anxious for the conclusion of the Presidential election.

“It’s just been a close race during this entire political season,” Crystal Parisi said.

The projections for which candidate will win Florida are still very much up in the air.

“It could honestly go either way, and it can go somewhere we aren’t completely expecting at this point in time too,” said Shelby Rapp, who says she is undecided.

According to the poll, half of likely voters who have not voted yet say they are waiting until Election Day.

That includes Parisi, who also says she is undecided.

“There is good from both sides, but, honestly, just staying in the middle is where I prefer to be,” Parisi said.

Although she’s leaning more toward voting for Trump, she’s still not sure.

“There are some things that I take up with issue, but for now, that’s what I’m sticking with,” Parisi said. “Other than that, we’ll see on Election Day.”

It’s too late to request a mail-in ballot, but you can still hop in line at early voting locations until Oct. 31.

Rapp says it’ll be interesting come Nov. 3.

“I have no idea how it’s going to go because we have so many people who haven’t voted yet because they are waiting on Election Day just like I am,” Rapp said.
