Collier County sees smooth election day, record-breaking turnout

Published: Updated:

The polls in Collier County had a steady stream of voters all day Tuesday. We visited several locations across the county, and turnout so far has surpassed 88%.

A squad of volunteers called “Election Protection” has been on guard at once precinct –making sure everyone gets along.

The last time Collier County saw a turn out this big was in 2016 with 86%.
