State Sen. Ray Rodrigues has been admitted to the hospital more than a week after testing positive for COVID-19.
He told WINK News on Nov. 9 that he was scheduled for a medical procedure and a COVID-19 test beforehand came back positive the previous weekend. At the time, Rodrigues said he wasn’t experiencing any symptoms and was quarantining.
He said Tuesday that he went from being asymptomatic the first five days to getting hit with all the symptoms during the last 10.
Rodrigues attended an event at The Ranch in Fort Myers on election night Nov. 3, along with other GOP candidates and supporters.
