The Department of Health in Lee County has announced that it will be canceling its remaining COVID-19 testing and Hepatitis A and Flu vaccine pop-up dates for the month of December. DOH Lee has shifted its focuses to providing the COVID-19 vaccine to frontline health care workers and adults 65 and older. The DOH still encourages residents of Lee County to get their flu shots and Hepatitis A shots. If you would still like to get either vaccine or a free COVID-19 test, you can do so by scheduling an appointment at their 3920 Michigan Avenue in Fort Myers. You can schedule appointments by calling 239-461-6100. The Department of Health originally released that schedule on December 5. You can still get COVID-19 tests at CenturyLink Sports Complex.
