The Weather Authority is tracking another gloomy day across Southwest Florida with areas of rain and cloudy skies.
Showers are light through lunchtime, but will become more moderate as we go throughout the afternoon and evening.
It’s important to note that as we transition to a widespread rain event this evening, it will not be heavy.
Consistent, stratiform rain will be the name of the game! Most areas will accumulate between 0.25″ – 0.50″ once the event ends Thursday morning.
Once this moisture clears, our eyes are on our next cold front early Saturday.
This will drop lows to the 40s and 50s Sunday morning!
