Lee Health has 646 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, 12 deaths reported on Tuesday

Lee Health is reporting it has 646 COVID-19 patients isolated in their hospitals as of Wednesday morning. Of those patients, 15 of them are being treated at Golisano Children’s Hospital.

路 Lee Health currently has 646 COVID-19 patients isolated in their hospitals (inpatient).

路 Of these patients, 15 of them are being treated at Golisano Children鈥檚 Hospital of Southwest Florida.

路 Yesterday, the hospital system had 88 new COVID-19 hospital admissions and 79 COVID-19 discharges.

路 Currently, 46% of ventilators and 5% of ICU rooms are available for use. There are 88 COVID-19 patients on ventilators and 116 in the intensive care unit.

路 Current census is at 97% of staffed operational bed capacity.

路 Since the start of the pandemic, Lee Health has lost 859 patients inside its hospitals to COVID-19, including 12 on Tuesday.

Lee Health is offering vaccines for anyone 12 years and older at its walk-in Community Vaccination Clinic inside of Gulf Coast Medical Center.

It is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The vaccine is free.
