Brian Laundrie is still nowhere to be found, but the timeline of where he was before he went missing is slowly being pieced together.

His lawyer says Laundrie and his parents went to the Fort De Soto campground in Pinellas County on Sept. 6 and 7. While on their camping trip, Gabby Petito’s family never suspected their daughter was dead.

Petito’s family reported her missing on Sept. 11.

Petito and Landrie left together during the summer on a cross-country trip to visit the national parks in a converted sleeper van. On Sept. 1, Laundrie returned without Petito. Her remains were found on Sept. 19.

Laundrie has been missing since Sept. 14, but he was officially reported missing by his parents on Sept. 17.

Since then authorities have searched the 25,000-acre Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County with no success.

Now, a smaller, scaled-down search for Laundrie is happening at the Carlton Reserve in where investigators are focusing on areas of water that are receding due to less rainfall.
