The February heatwave rages on this weekend, with highs in the mid to upper 80s today and tomorrow. With high pressure dominating the region, expect lots of sun with a light easterly breeze. A weak trough will dig into the eastern United States early next week, which will push a cold front across the area on Monday. The front will only bring a slight chance of a shower, with temperatures dropping to more seasonable levels. This doesn’t last though, with highs flirting with 90 once again by the end of the week.
