The City of Naples lifted its precautionary boil water notice for all customers located within
its drinking water service area, including all of Naples and a portion of Collier County.

The drinking water service area extends south of Pine Ridge Road/Seagate Drive and west of Livingston Road. This comes after the city’s utilities department completed a sample of the drinking water, indicating that it’s safe for consumption.

If you have any questions, please call the Utilities Department at (239) 213-4745. To stay updated on alerts go to the city website’s hurricane page, call the non-emergency hotline at (239) 213-4900 or sign up for email updates by emailing mbarnhart@naplesgov.com.

The city said it would also begin going around the city and collecting debris piles that have been generated by Hurricane Ian.

Horticulture debris will be continually collected as part of the disaster recovery effort. All residents should place horticulture debris in a separate pile along the curb within the Right-of-Way and not in the roadway.

The city asks that you do not stack debris below overhead wires, around fire hydrants, communication pedestals, mailboxes, water meter boxes, or any other object that could be damaged by heavy equipment collecting debris.

Naples asks that you don’t place horticulture debris in plastic bags or any other containers but instead leave them in loose piles.

Construction and demolition debris piles should be separated from the land and tree piles. The city asks that you make sure not to include materials that can be considered hazardous, like propane tanks, paint, oils, and lubricants.

Those hazardous items can be placed alongside appliances like refrigerators and dishwashers. That should also be a separate pile from the two above.
