Compass by Margaritaville. CREDIT: WINK News The company making big changes in Fort Myers Beach is about to make its presence known further south. Margaritaville has purchased a building and land in Naples. The company plans to open a Compass Hotel in 2023. It won’t be a huge resort project like the one on Fort Myers Beach, but it will give more real estate to a growing brand in Southwest Florida. Businesses believe a Margaritaville franchise in Naples will bring younger people to the city. The Staybridge Hotel on Tamiami Trail North in Naples is going to change. “Yes, it needs a facelift. For sure. I love the Staybridge. I’ve been there several times myself, but it definitely is tired-looking,” Debbie Neel, the assistant manager of New Journey Weight Loss & Amp Wellness, said.
