The Gulf Coast Humane Society has around 100 dogs in its shelter, all in need of loving homes. Every Friday, WINK News will introduce you to new dogs that could be the perfect additions to your family. This week’s dogs: Alan Jackson, a 7-year-old, 35-lb chihuahua mix. He has a unique smile and loves to be with people. He also loves being around other dogs. Alan hasn’t gotten many meet-and-greets and is hoping a family will come to give him a chance. He’s got a big personality, lovable and friendly. Alan is also a furry ambassador and goes to events and schools to brighten others’ days. She is a bigger girl, but super laid-back and enjoys taking strolls. Dorlisa does not do well with other dogs, but she sure loves people. She has been at GCHS for a year and is still looking for her forever home. Dorlisa just wants to sit, get petted and love the person she is with.
