Those planning to dine out today or Wednesday in Charlotte County better call ahead, because although some restaurants remained open shortly before noon Tuesday, that could change from moment to moment.
Hostesses at OIive Garden and Red Lobster in Port Charlotte confirmed they were open, but that was subject to change, and it was uncertain whether the restaurants would be open on Wednesday, they said.
IHOP in Punta Gorda was also serving. Its hostess said it would continue to remain open “unless the weather is changing.”
