Reward increased to $5K for info on Collier homicide cold case

The reward for information about a 2002 cold case regarding the homicide of a Collier County man has been increased to $5,000.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of State Road 29 and Tamiami Trail East in Naples about a body that was found in a wooded area on Sept. 1, 2002.

The victim was later identified as 35-year-old David Lamb. He died as a result of a gunshot wound, and his death was determined to be a homicide.
