As Hurricane Milton made its way to Florida, residents in the Villas in South Fort Myers went through a possible tornado around 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

An RV on La Salle Avenue was toppled over onto a Jeep as the wind blew.

The RV owner said he heard a tornado warning in the Villas area and went inside in a matter of minutes.

A garage door was also removed from the foundation of a home.

An entire palm tree on Kent Avenue and Terrace Lane was uprooted, and a shed was flipped on its side after wind damage.

The owner said he had planned to take the RV and move further inland before the storm got worse.
