Reward increase of $5K for more information on Edison Mall shooter from 2011

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is seeking more information on a suspect wanted for shooting someone at the Edison Mall in Fort Myers.

According to Crime Stoppers, on December 23, 2011, the Fort Myers Police Department responded to the Edison Mall for a report of a shooting.

The victim, Thomas A. Goodman Jr., was walking through the parking lot when witnesses said a small gray four-door vehicle with multiple people inside chased and shot Goodman.

The shooting occurred at 9 a.m., outside the entrances of Macy’s and JCPenney.

Goodman suffered multiple gunshot wounds from a high-powered assault rifle. Police believe the shooter fired 50 to 60 rounds at Goodman.
