The Weather Authority is tracking warmer conditions ahead of a cold front, bringing lower temperatures and isolated rain this Monday evening.

The Weather Authority Meteorologist Zach Maloch said, “Due to a strong cold front approaching Florida, temperatures will drop throughout the week. Before that, temperatures will be in the mid-70s on this Monday.”

Monday

Plan on a warm, breezy and slightly humid Monday afternoon.

Highs on Monday will top out in the mid to upper 70s.

A cold front moves through this evening and that will bring isolated rain through Southwest Florida. Rain totals look to be less than 0.25″.

Temperatures will then plummet overnight tonight.

Tuesday

Colder temperatures move in after Monday evening’s cold front.

Lows will start in the mid to upper 40s and lower 50s for the Tuesday morning commute.

Clouds will be clearing throughout the day, with a mostly sunny sky expected in the afternoon.

Highs will be chilly and in the lower 60s.

Wednesday

Even colder temperatures start with the upper 30s to lower 40s Wednesday morning.

For your Wednesday afternoon plans, expect a mostly sunny sky.

Highs will be cool once again, in the mid- to upper 60s.
