SANIBEL, Fla.- A baby bobcat found in a brush fire off Daniels Parkway continues to improve at the Center for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW).

CROW says she is bright and alert, gaining weight and hydrated and enjoying a diet of cat food and mice.

All four paws were burnt but two are healed and the other two are 80 percent healed.

The bobcat is currently living in an enclosure with an older and wilder bobcat who will teach her not to become habitual to people.

According to CROW, the pairing of the two will make it easier when they are released back into the wild.
