Missing woman's case now considered possible homicide

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A missing persons case is now considered a suspected homicide.

Donna Chatterton’s trailer in Tice burned to the ground this past February. Once the smoke settled, she was nowhere to be found.

On Monday, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers confirmed to WINK News while Chatterton is still a missing person, her case is now a possible homicide.

Monday would have been Chatterton’s 47th Birthday. Her family held a vigil for her and released balloons into the air.
