Suspect covered in red plastic wrap sought in robbery

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is looking for a suspect who robbed a convenience store on Palm Beach Boulevard Thursday morning.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect walked into the Gulf Express Store around 4:30 a.m., covered in red plastic wrap.

Deputies say the man walked up to the clerk and said “do the register.” The employee gave the suspect cash, then the man took off.

The suspect is described as being between 19 and 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds with a stocky build and short black hair.
