EAST NAPLES, Fla.- A man says he fought two masked, armed suspects who broke into his home on Tuesday. It happened off Davis Boulevard in East Naples at a Green Field Village apartment. Detectives say a family was inside when the two home invasion suspects broke in through the lanai. The victim told Collier County deputies a massive struggle ensued. He wrestled and kicked a gun away from one suspect but was stabbed before both suspects took off. The masked suspects ran out through the lanai. The victim went to the hospital by ambulance and was treated for lacerations on his arm. K-9s and deputies searched the neighborhood but found nothing. They are continuing to speak with the victim about what happened inside the apartment.
