DURHAM, N.C. (AP) – Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski says he expects injured guards Matt Jones and Derryck Thornton to play Thursday night against Florida State.

Krzyzewski discussed the players’ health Monday.

Jones – a junior and co-captain – sprained his left ankle in the first half of the win over North Carolina last week and watched the second half of that game while on crutches. After being initially ruled out for the following game at Louisville, he took part in pregame warmups but did not play.

Thornton – a freshman point guard – briefly left the Louisville game after falling on his shoulder in the second half. Krzyzewski says there was no structural damage to his shoulder.
