Naples inmate’s life sentence reduced by Obama

NAPLES, Fla. – A man who was sentenced in 1995 to life to behind bars will have his sentence reduced after President Barack Obama granted commutation to 72 inmates.

Kenneth Sanders was convicted for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine base, four counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine base; five counts of embezzlement in the Middle District of Florida.

Now Sanders has a chance to leave by Nov. 4 2018, but he must register into a drug treatment program.
