FORT MYERS, Fla. – For the 2nd year in a row, radio station 93X FM is hosting their .05K Race to the Bar on Saturday, November 19th. The 164 foot dash will take place at Headpinz as “runners” see who can make it to the bar the fastest. The .05K works to raise money for the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida as participants in the .05K will be asked to give a $10 donation. The first 93 participants will receive a 93X mug, .05K Race to the Bar shirt and a $10 gift card to Headpinz. Finishers will also be rewarded with an ice cold beer on the house. Post race, participants will enjoy 93 cent re-fills on their beer for 93 minutes. Race registration starts at 10:00 a.m. at Headpinz located at 14513 Global Parkway off of Treeline in Fort Myers.
