Cape Coral brush fire 100 percent controlled

CAPE CORAL, Fla. A camp fire was the cause of a seven acre blaze that began at approximately 7 a.m. Saturday, according to The Caloosahatchee Forestry Center.

The brush fire near Southwest Pine Island Road and Chiquita Boulevard South was 100 percent contained around noon, firefighters said.

No homes were threatened and there were no reported injuries, firefighters said.
