Motorcyclist killed in Collier County crash

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a man has died after his motorcycle crashed in Collier County.

This happened just before 3 p.m. on Oil Well Road near Pringle Lane.

The driver of the motorcyclist, a 60-year-old man from Naples, was heading east on Oil Well Road and came to a curve east of Pringle.

The motorcycle left the roadway and overturned. The driver was taken to NCH and was later pronounced dead.

The man was wearing a helmet at the time.

The Florida Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of those involved in crashes, citing Marsy’s Law.
