FBI Denver confirms they will be giving updates on the search for Gabby Petito at 4 p.m. MDT which is 6 p.m. EDT. The Teton County Coroner says that he was dispatched to Grand Teton National Park to recover a body. That body has not been identified and authorities cannot confirm it is Gabby Petito.

FBI says human remains were found that are consistent with the description of Gabby Petito. Again, they have not 100% confirmed that the remains belong to Petito. No cause of death has been identified.

A spokesperson sent condolences to Gabby’s family. North Port Police also sent updates.
Saddened and heartbroken to learn that Gabby has been found deceased. Our focus from the start, along with the FBI, and national partners, has been to bring her home. We will continue to work with the FBI in the search for more answers.

The Attorney representing the Laundrie family released a statement of condolence as well.
“The news about Gabby Petito is heartbreaking. The Laundrie family prays for Gabby and her family.”
He also went on to add, “Tonight America mourns for Gabby.”

The coroner announced on Sunday night that the Autopsy for the body found will take place on Tuesday.
