For your weekend, expect scattered storms to develop this afternoon, with mostly cloudy skies across the area. The clouds will be enough to keep our highs in the mid-80s. Rain chances look lower for Sunday, with more sunshine, and highs back in the upper-80s to around 90.
In the tropics, the area off the Carolina’s has a medium chance to develop, but isn’t a threat to SW Florida. Otherwise, there aren’t any other areas of concern in the Atlantic Basin.
