Arrest made in connection with January shooting in downtown Fort Myers

A man has been arrested Thursday morning as a suspect in a January shooting in downtown Fort Myers.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, Rajeah Hall, 37, was taken into custody without incident in Collier County by U.S. Marshals and the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest stems from a call of gunshots heard in downtown Fort Myers early on Monday, Jan. 24. An altercation led to multiple gunshots fired near Main and Hensley Street. No one was injured in the incident.

Hall will be extradited to Lee County Jail in the near future.
