The Mercy Me and Matthew West Disaster Relief Benefit Concert at Hertz Arena has been postponed, according to the venue’s website. According to the venue’s website, “Joe Knopp, Producer of the event, announced the postponement of the Disaster Relief Benefit Concert in an effort to assure the community of Fort Myers that the sole purpose of this event is and always has been to support this community that has suffered greatly. It is a difficult decision but one that will remove all doubt.” WINK News has been investigating how funds raised would actually benefit Hurricane Ian survivors.
