San Carlos Park Fire District responded to a dumpster fire Sunday afternoon. Shortly after 2 p.m., firefighters extinguished a dumpster that caught on fire at South Bridge Loop at Florida Gulf Coast University. SCPFD Ladder 53 responded at 2:02pm to a dumpster fire off South Bridge Loop at FGCU. Firefighters extinguished a fire contained to a 20 yard dumpster with approximately 4 yards of debris. Fire was extinguished by 2:12. No structures threatened, no injuries #BreakingNews pic.twitter.com/LiqDa4tBnH — San Carlos Park FD (@SanCarlosParkFD) May 5, 2024 No injuries have been reported related to the fire.
