The Weather Authority is tracking evening scattered showers and high temperatures throughout Thursday.

The Weather Authority Meteorologist Juliana Mejia said, “We’ll likely see some clear skies this afternoon, and then around 3 p.m., we’ll see some clouds beginning to accumulate. Due to the drier air, rain accumulation is expected to be on the lower end.”

Thursday

Most of Thursday’s rain will develop later, and more areas will remain drier due to lowering precipitable water values across the region.

This leads to more above-average highs this afternoon in the mid-90s. It “feels like” temperatures will range from 103 to 108°.

Rain remains less intense thanks to slightly drier air across the region.

Friday

Friday starts with a typical warm, humid, and rain-free morning.

There are chances of scattered storms in the afternoon, but the coverage and intensity remain inhibited by lingering dry air.

Highs will hot again and in the mid 90s for most and upper 90s for some.

Saturday

Drier air remains at play on Saturday.

Nonetheless, our usual summertime pattern continues with a dry start to the day and scattered storms for the afternoon.

Showers and storms will likely pop up slightly earlier (1 p.m. onwards) for more areas than Thursday and Friday.

Highs remain in the low 90s.
