Cheerleaders from Bishop Verot High School graced television screens across the nation as they marched through the streets of New York City in the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. RELATED: Bishop Verot seniors cheering in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade The students were a part of the “Spirit of America” cheer performance, organized by Spirit of America Productions. Each year, the organization assembles a team of cheerleaders and dancers, ages 14 and older, to put on two performances during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. For 10 of those years, seniors on the Bishop Verot cheerleading team have joined Spirit of America in the holiday parade. The team will return home on Friday to cheer on the Bishop Verot Vikings during the football regional finals against Cardinal Mooney.
