Last day of 92.5 FOX News ‘10,000 for the Troops’ campaign

Published: Updated:

Friday is the last day for Sun Broadcasting’s 92.5 FOX News Radio 10th annual “10,000 for the Troops” campaign in partnership with the Military Support Program at Lee Memorial Health Systems.

The campaign’s mission is to collect and send 10,000 Christmas cards to U.S. troops stationed around the world, bringing them a message of gratitude and support from the Southwest Florida community during the holiday season.

“Our goal is to show our deployed servicemen and women just how much they are appreciated,” said Trey Radel, local afternoon host for 92.5 FOX News. “Being oceans away from family and friends is particularly difficult this time of year, so it’s important to let our troops know that we are thinking of them and appreciate their many sacrifices.”

Throughout November, 92.5 FOX News invites everyone in Southwest Florida to participate by writing heartfelt messages of encouragement and appreciation to our troops.

To ensure the cards meet mailing requirements, please keep them unsealed and refrain from including glitter, photos or personal information.

Cards can be dropped off at any Mel’s Diner location in Southwest Florida.

The total amount of cards collected will be announced Monday at 8 a.m. on 92.5.
