FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. – Fort Myers Beach nominated a new mayor and vice mayor on Monday after former beach mayor Anita Cereceda announced she did not want to be renominated for another term.
The new mayor of Fort Myers Beach is Dennis Boback who was elected to the council last week. He served as mayor previously between 2005 and 2008.
The new vice mayor is Summer Stockton.
