NAPLES, Fla.- Vandals slashed several inflatable Christmas decorations in one neighborhood Thursday night.

The crimes happened less than a mile apart, near Crayton Road and Banyan Boulevard.

At one house, you can see an inflatable decoration is still standing.

“Not to see them today and to know why they’re not there is really disappointing.”

The owner of the expensive decorations didn’t want to go on camera but says the vandals slashed two other ones he had up.

They’re no longer on display and instead laying on the ground.

Just a block north, another homeowner tells WINK News a vehicle with a loud muffler took off after he heard kids laughing outside his house.

When he went outside, all three of his inflatable Christmas decorations were destroyed. He had them on display for 10 years.

Police were out in the area Christmas night, trying to look for the vehicle.

One of the homeowners tells WINK News it was a black or grey vehicle that had a loud muffler.
