PUNTA GORDA, Fla.- One person is dead after a crash in Charlotte County.
The Florida Highway Patrol says it happened around 2:30 Thursday morning at the intersection of Rampart Boulevard and Calcutta Road.
Investigators say 49-year-old Stephen Quesnel was walking along on Rampart Boulevard when he was hit by a truck.
Authorities say he was wearing dark clothing with no reflectors.
