FGCU men’s and women’s basketball teams beat USC Upstate

The FGCU men’s basketball team won its second road game of the season and it was a big one. Julian Debose scored a career high 18 points as the Eagles won at USC Upstate, 71-68. FGCU trailed with less than six minutes to go but three seniors scored 11 of the teams final 15 points as the Eagles improve to 13-7 overall and 3-1 in the Atlantic Sun. The Spartans drop to 13-7 and 1-3.

The Eagles women dominated USC Upstate, 79-61 at Alico Arena. Whitney Knight led all scorers with 17 points as FGCU never trailed. The first place Eagles improve to 4-0 in the A-Sun and 17-2 overall.
