Missing Tampa woman has ties to SWFL

Published: Updated:

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla.- Police in Tampa are offering a $15,000 reward for anyone with information leading to a missing woman with ties to Southwest Florida.

Police say 33-year-old Apryl Foster was last seen last Thursday in Ybor City, exchanging numbers with a man at a bar. Then they walked in separate directions.

WINK News has learned Foster used to work at the Lani Kai on Fort Myers Beach, and often sang there.

Tampa detectives say they are also searching for her car, a 2009 Chevy Aveo with Florida tag number K12 5YC and a vanity white front tag labeled ‘Huskers.’

So far there is no evidence of foul play, but police are worried for Foster’s safety.

Her family says it is very unlike her to not be in touch with them. If you have any information, call police.
