ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) – Florida’s orange crop remained unchanged from last month, but the grapefruit forecast dropped slightly.

Officials with the U.S. Department of Agriculture said Thursday that Florida is expected to produce 102 million boxes of oranges this growing season, unchanged from last month.

The grapefruit forecast dropped from 15 million boxes to 13 million boxes.

The agriculture department makes an initial crop estimate in October each year and revises it every month until the season ends in July.
