OAKLAND, Fla. (AP) – A 5-year-old boy who was rescued from a central Florida mobile home fire has died.

State Fire Marshal’s spokeswoman Kayla Anderson told the Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1LwXPxl ) on Wednesday that Caleb Eisenberg died at the hospital of injuries suffered in the June 16 fire at the Lake John’s Motel Efficiency. Another child rescued by firefighters remains in serious but stable condition.

An infant and a toddler were rescued by 11-year-old Isiah Francis and his friend, 10-year-old Jeremiah Grimes before firefighters arrived. Neither of those children required medical attention.

Authorities say a man who was at the home when the fire broke out was not injured.

The State Fire Marshal is still investigating the fire.
